Spring is in the Air

As much I love skirts (I do have a blog name to live up to, afterall), I just don’t wear enough of them during the winter because I hate hate hate tights. Hate. But I think we’ve finally hit a turning point — even though there’s still a little bit of snow on the ground, spring is in the air!
And so the bare legs are back in NYC! Obviously they need to catch a few more rays, but I couldn’t wait to take this striped midi skirt out on the town. I paired it over a floral dress from last summer and the mixed print combo immediately added an extra pep to my step. Sunnier days ahead, my friends!

I’ve never thought to pair a skirt over a dress before – what a good idea to mix it up!
I wore a skirt and no tights yesterday in Chicago and it was seriously the BEST feeling!! I’ve never loved walking outside into 50 degree weather like I did yesterday!
