Or shall I say – the mood to get dressed up at all.

This summer, I’ve basically been living in nothing besides rompers and dresses. Sure, they’re easy to throw on when I’m scrambling to get to out the door, but that’s because they don’t require much effort or creativity (two things that I lack in the morning anyway). But when I do have enough time (and caffeine) to get ready, it’s a whole ‘nother story.

Last week, I felt inspired by something old (my striped midi skirt from Chicwish) and something new (my ankle strap bow heels from a recent sample sale). It felt good to get back to my roots with a little feminine flare and some mixed print action (my leaf print top is sold out, but available in dress form). I also got slightly excited for fall color palettes (just not fall clothes or weather just yet!) with this dark red, velvety lip color from NARS. See what happens when I have a little time to actually think my outfits through? The possibilities are endless!
