Derby season is here! Last year, I went to the Belmont Stakes (one of the three Triple Crown races) and I couldn’t help but fall in love with the derby culture. It’s not so much about the horse racing as it is about getting gussied up in a feminine dress and an over the top hat and making an entire day out of a two-minute race. Today, I thought I’d share another one of my fail proof style formulas: stripes and florals. I’ve been wearing this combo a lot lately (last seen here and here) and as you know, when I find something I love, I stick to it! If you’ve been wanting to get into mixed prints, this is definitely the playful pairing to get you started.
