It’s so funny how long I dreaded the end of summer, but easily celebrated the arrival of fall once temperatures finally started to drop. I’m mostly excited that I finally get to wear all of the jackets that I bought during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale back in July. This faux leather jacket and this suede moto have been patiently waiting for 3+ months to make their debuts. Can I get a heck yes?!

It’s no secret that I love my job. I started managing internal communications for a company that I love back in January and there are days that I still can’t believe this is what I get to do. I’ve also shared my very non-linear career path with you, but I thought I’d focus on more of the how I got to my latest adventure. As in — how long did it take me to find this job? And when is the best time to look?
