Aaaaand we’re back after a fabulous holiday weekend.  My parents came into town (mom hasn’t been to NYC since 1994!), so we showed them a few of our favorite spots in the city and discovered a few new joints together.  One of the highlights: finally checking out Ladurée on the Upper East Side.  We went in for a box of macarons and came out with much more than expected.

As I’m sure you know, it’s not easy getting back on the grind after an extended weekend, but today’s outfit makes it slightly more bearable.  I’m obsessed with this colorful bird print midi skirt from Chicwish.  It’s a bit whimsy, slightly over the top and totally playful — what’s not to love?  It’s the perfect piece to combat those post-vacay blues.  Happy Tuesday my loves!
