After spending a few days in Mykonos (see my comprehensive travel guide here), we took a ferry to Santorini to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. When booking a hotel on the island, we knew we wanted to stay in Oia, a small town on the northern tip of Santorini that is known for white houses on the cliff and absolutely stunning sunsets. We ended up at Armeni Village & Suites, where we got upgraded to an insane suite – if you follow me on Snapchat (SkirtTheRules), you might’ve seen how crazy it was, complete with a private outdoor jacuzzi!
Instead of dashing out the door to find a vantage point for the sunset, we grabbed bottle of champagne from a nearby market and the most delicious gyro and fries at Pitogyros joint. I slipped out of this beautiful white lace dress from Lilly Pullitzer and into our little hot tub. It was one of my favorite, most relaxing moments of the trip – and yes, we spent less than 10€ on our one-year-anniversary dinner. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
